Service was terrible. We were the only ones there and they made us feel like we were bothering them. Not friendly at all. Prices are high. Meat was good. Ice cream amazing. Would not return. I didn't feel comfortable. Waitress didn't explain about their specialties or offer us anything to drink.
I live locally and i have skipped over this place for years. Now I wonder how I can get that time back! Service was great and the food was superb. On our way home afertwards, the entire conversation consisted of what we were going to order the next time. Not what you may expect from the road but HIGHLY recommended.
Shame. Owner is trying hard to bring eclectic food to the area, just poorly run restaurant.
Delicious food, large servings and friendly staff. The owner comes to the table to chat. A family favorite.
Still not your style? How about a home made milkshake!! Using an antique hamilton beach milkshake mixer from the 1940's they can whip together a milkshake to knock your socks off! You won't find a smoother milkshake this side of the Hudson valley!
Not feeling pizza? Try their smoke meats! Pulled pork sandwiches, full rack of ribs, or some delicious hot soup! Still not what you're looking for? Try the rabbit! How about the duck! Or Why not both?! Order the Elmer fudd pizza! Half duck, half rabbit! Or just have it on its own! They farm raise their chicken, ducks and rabbits as well as process them on site. It's the closest thing you'll get to "farm to plate" food in the area. Highly recommended!
I have to say, I stopped here only to look around and sooo glad I did,this place cooks the best food. I had half of rabbit and steak to take home. I ordered the pizza with rabbit for the first time and I'm in love!! We also ordered the smoke rib with cornbread and Coleslaw YUMMY!! THIS IS A MUST STOP TO EAT PLACE. .
The cook is a top notch, friendly gentleman who enjoys the company of others and will tell stories of how the place started and where it's going while enjoying one of their craft beers on tap from a local brewery.
I highly recommend this place for a quick bite or a good story!
Awesome! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is straight out of a Texas smoke house. Don't be deceived by the empty look from the road. This place has amazing pizza! A whole pie, literally made from scratch right in front of you, cooked and served in under 8 mins. The crust is light crispy and flavorful.
